Kelsey + Ross had a gorgeous minimal wedding at their family friends pumpkin patch in Marietta, NY. Many guests knew this reception space as Tim’s pumpkin patch, a place where they would go for all their favorite fall activities. Everyone was thrilled to see how we had completely transformed the venue to lend to a more to a clean + simple, yet elegant feel with subtle hints of the autumn.
This wedding is one that is near and dear to my heart. Kelsey + Ross were one of my clients the very first year I started my event planning business. I still remember our initial phone call to discuss their wedding details, they were still 2 years out from their wedding date but saw the value in hiring a wedding planner due to their busy job schedules and the complication of their wedding venue. I knew after our first conversation that this couple was going to be one of the greatest.
Fast forward two years later on August 31, 2019, Kelsey + Ross finally said “I Do”! We could not believe how fast those years of planning for this very day went by.
Kelsey + Ross are some of the kindest people I have ever met. They were always so easy going , relaxed and trusting throughout the whole process of planning + designing their wedding. I am so incredibly grateful to have gotten to work with such a sweet couple and now have new lifelong friends!
Their wedding day was nothing shy of magical. The weather was sunny and warm with a cool breeze. There were so many amazing details of the day that fell into place perfectly. From the breathtaking scenic ceremony overlooking Otisco Lake to all the emerald greens covering the reception tent. The beautiful peacocks and adorable goats, floor to ceiling donut wall and who could forget the Irish dance performance to end the night. This wedding is one I will never forget. I couldn’t have pictured a more deserving couple for such a perfect day.
I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for this sweet couple, I know they will have a life filled with lots of love and happiness!
